The t-shirt cut is to apply the polish onto the larger parts of the shoe while the toothbrush is to get to the harder to reach places.  

Highly recommended a chamois cloth and a long bristled soft brush. The brush helps clean the polish excess. kiwi polishes are very good and they have a wide range from wax to liquid in as much colors as you want.

Step 2: Application

First,  a quick wipe of the shoe to remove excess dirt or dust which could affect the polish process should be done. Do this using a damp cloth and we recommend you remove the shoe laces when doing this to allow quick dry.

Once dry, begin by dabbing a small amount of the polish onto the t-shirt cut or soft rag. Apply in small circular patterns using a considerable amount of pressure. Apply until the polish is evenly distributed.

(Note: Heavily worn areas may require more coats of polish so pay extra attention while near these spots).

Earlier said that cotton swabs and toothbrushes are best for hard to reach areas. This method is useful for space on the tongue of the shoe.

After application leave shoe to dry. If you desire a darker shade to your shoe or at certain parts of your shoe after it dries apply more coats of polish the the desired areas till the desired shade is achieved. Once achieved use the long bristled soft brush to remove excess polish, then leave to dry.

Step 3: The Shine

The final step between you and a fresh pair of perfect shined shoes is a simple buff. To give this buff, take the chamois cloth and work it across the entire surface of the polished shoe. This helps work the polish into the leather while adding a lustrous shine.
